CHSLD St-Charles-Borromée

Out-of-Court Settlement of the class action against CHSLD St-Charles-Borromée.

On April 15, 2013 an out-of-court settlement was reached between the plaintiffs in the class action and Handicap-Vie Dignité and Mr. Michel Allard (representative of the Estate of Gisèle Allard) as well as the representatives of the CHSLD St-Charles-Borromée (presently known as the CHSLD Centre-ville de Montréal and integrated with the CSSS Jeanne Mance) regarding a class action commenced against this establishment in 1998. Fuel tax paid by registered Indians on reserve


On December 9, 2011, Collectiva was appointed by the Québec Superior Court as Administrator for the settlement of the class action regarding fuel tax paid by registered Indians on reserve in Québec, a case litigated by the firms of Belleau Lapointe s.e.n.c.r.l. and Dionne Schulze, involving a C$24.3 million settlement fund.

DANONE INC.

A proposed settlement agreement has been reached between the parties to the class action relating to Activia® yogurt products or DanActive® probiotic drink products.

The motion to approve the settlement was heard by the Québec Superior Court on November 6, 2012. When the Québec Superior Court renders judgment, it will be posted on our website..
